Women Can Vote for Reproduction Rights

They have lied to us. By “they” I mean progressive Pro-Choice politicians. For decades Americans have been told abortion is a Constitutional right, relying on a Supreme Court decision of Roe v. Wade. The judicial system includes judges and courts; they are not elected to create legislation. The legislative body includes the people’s elected representatives. These representatives vote to create laws that reflect the priorities of their constituents. Liberals pushed abortion rights through the court, and never seriously took action to codify abortion rights through the legislative body. Progressive inaction and ineptitude left Roe v. Wade vulnerable to being overturned.

On MAY 2022, a leaked draft of an ongoing Supreme Court case,

Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization. The unofficial draft ruling by Justice Samuel Alito was a 5 to 4 decision to overturn the 1973 ruing of Roe v, Wade. For almost 50 years the progressives have relied on a judicial decision creating a “Constitutional” right to abortion. But only the legislative body of the government shall create new laws.

Even supporters of pro-choices organizations cannot deny there is no mention of abortion within the Constitution Progressive giant Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg warned Roe v. Wade was done in haste.

According to an article by Alisha Haridasani Gupta,”Mary Hartnett, a law professor at Georgetown University and co-author of Justice Ginsburg’s biography,“Ruth Bader Ginsburg wasn’t really fond of Roe v. Wade, the landmark Supreme Court decision that in 1973 established a constitutional right to abortion. She didn’t like how it was structured.”

“The ruling, she noted in a lecture at New York University in 1992, tried to do too much, too fast — it essentially made every abortion restriction in the country at the time illegal in one fell swoop — leaving it open to fierce attacks.

“Doctrinal limbs too swiftly shaped,” she said, “may prove unstable.”

“Justice Ginsburg “believed it would have been better to approach it under the equal protection clause” because that would have made Roe v. Wade less vulnerable to attacks in the years after it was decided, Professor Hartnett said.”

The Justices that appear to lean toward  overturning  Roe v. Wade include: Justice Samuel Alito (author of the draft), Justices Clarence Thomas, Amy Coney Barrett, Brett Kavanaugh, and  Neil Gorsuch. Justice John Roberts is a liberal in conservative robe. Therefore, many question if Roberts is hopeful to alter Kavanaugh’s and Coney Barrett ‘s decisions to be more moderate over the possibility of a complete overturning of Roe v. Wade. Fears are valid for those recognizing a pattern of Justice Roberts voting  in concert with liberal justices.

After the leak an ironic group called Ruth Sent Us released addresses of the Justices’ homes. Apparently, Ruth didn’t send them. Actually, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg was a critic of the ruling of Roe v. Wade, During a lecture at New York University in 1992, Ginsberg said, “Doctrinal limbs too swiftly shaped may prove unstable.”  She realized there was a danger if one court case nullified every abortion law in all states. By doing so, Roe v. Wade would inevitably face one or more states in court arguing the judicially created “Constitutional right” violated the Constitution’s 10th Amendment of State Powers. Many argued if abortion is not mentioned in the Constitution then the issue should be left to the States’ citizens vote.

We often hear the chants, “make our voices heard” and “my body my choice.” What is sad is what these women are actually crying out for is the right to vote and show support for Roe v. Wade.  Dishonesty and ignorance is spreading lies about Justice Alito’s argument to return the issue to the state. The abortion/feminist drifters are claiming abortion will be criminalized in America. Each state will have different laws based on their constituents opinions, in other words, their “voices”.

Women will finally have their state capital as a place to reach their representatives on the abortion issues. Too many feminists and activists are drawn to the glitz and glam of Washington DC. There they have lobbyists rubbing elbows with powerful politicians. The charity donations somehow always lead back to DC. So, when there are protests most women will never be able to walk up to the US Capitol with a poster for either sides position. It appears women are going to be more empowered in the future, as they will finally have their “voices heard” at the State ballot boxes.
