A Tale of Two Presidents: Media copes with Biden classified document scandal and unlikelihood of Trump indictment.

On January 9, 2023, CBS News reported President Joe Biden was in possession of classified documents relating to countries the Biden family has allegedly made millions of dollars in from illegal activities. The documents included those in relation to Ukraine, Iran and the United Kingdom. Another questionable relationship lies with the Biden’s and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). This relationship was established when word was released anonymous Chinese donations, around $50 million, were given to Biden’s think tank, the Penn Biden Center, after its inception.
With so much information being presented by news channels, like CBS, it would appear President Biden has met his usefulness to the Democrats and is being sent to pasture by his own party. For years the Democrats and mainstream media would not cover any of the Biden’s ties to foreign controversies. One must wonder, “Why now?”
Some people find the timing interesting as the discoveries were made days after Biden said he would run for president in 2024. Conservatives have long believed Biden was a transition president. He would be the puppet for those really running the show. If the policies fail, the Democrats can then say, “Socialism works, Biden just did not know how to implement it.” Democrats are hoping to have another generation of youth that will focus on the man as the problem and not the socialist ideas as the problem.
The mainstream media has now reported the Biden home, where classified documents were stored in his garage, was rented by Biden’s corruptible son Hunter Biden. According to a “background screening” Hunter filled out, Hunter claimed the Biden home at Barley Hill Road in Wilmington, Delaware, was his residence. He checked the box for claiming he was the owner of Barley Hill.

New York Post’s Miranda Levine, the author of “The Laptop from Hell”, broke the story about the Hunter Biden laptop just before the presidential election of 2020. There has been nothing but controversy after controversy exposed in Hunter’s laptop. Before the 2020 election, the mainstream media and social media operators declared the laptop discovery as Russian propaganda. Only after the 2020 election had passed did the mainstream media even acknowledge the laptop’s existence or value.
Hunter Biden’s ties to the corrupted Ukrainian energy company named Burisma started in 2014 when Hunter was appointed its board. Hunter was seen flying with President Joe Biden to Ukraine and China in Joe’s last few months in office. The press has been defending Joe for years. The media passively accepted Joe’s claim, that he never spoke with Hunter or his business partners about Hunter’s businesses deals. Liberal media censored emails, foreign invites, documents, and yes, photos of Joe meeting with Hunter’s business associates.
Furthermore, the liberals had to protect the Biden’s, because of their political use of moral authority. The mainstream media has become so sanctimonious, in their hatred of the conservatives, that they have set a standard of ethics and credibility that realistically can never be achieved. Now that the Left has so politicized the raid on former President Trump at Mar-a-Lago, it has created a new precedence for previous office holders to be investigated for removing or mishandling classified material.

According to the Western Journal, Hunter lived in the Wilmington mansion “off and on” following his divorce in May 2017. This was the same year Joe Biden first left office as an ex-vice president. This would be the same year president Biden would begin the opening of his operations at the Penn Biden Center, another location where classified documents were first discovered.
The Western Journal reported, on January 16, 2023, Zillow.com valued the mansion at Barley Hill as $1,380.800. Its rental value is $7,612 a month. Hunter was paying “rent’ on a home he supposedly owned, at $49,910 a month to President Biden. That is around $42,000 a month left over, for what? One cannot be blamed for asking if the documents being kept at Barley Hill were part of the family business to trade state secrets to foreign agents.
According to the Wester Journal, “We’ve known from Hunter’s laptop that he has connections with Chinese nationals and others who would greatly benefit from classified U.S. intelligence. Might that be why these documents were found there?”
The news of the discovery of documents at the Penn Biden Center office was withheld since November 2, 2022, six days before the 2022 midterm elections. A stark contrast to the treatment of former president Donald Trump and the raid on Mar-a-Lago. The mainstream media torched Trump’s possession of documents he declared as declassified and was in litigation with the National Archives.
Former President Trump stored the records with the National Archives (NARA)’s permission as they litigated documents to be returned from Trump. NARA told Trump to secure the storage room with an additional lock. The likelihood a pad lock would have made a difference is nil, due to the Mar-a-Lago estate’s history. Mar-a-Lago is also known as President Harry Truman’s Little White House. According to Town and Country, “Reports have it that during the Kennedy administration, Palm Beach County officials had floated to Marjorie Merriweather Post the idea of turning Mar-a-Lago into a winter White House for President Kennedy and his successors.”
According to the real estate page of Tina Fanjul Associates, “A little-known fact about Mar-a-Lago is that cereal heiress Marjorie Merriweather Post had three bomb shelters installed during the Korean War. Donald Trump has said in the past that of all his properties with bomb shelters – Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach and his estate in Westchester, New York – Mar-a-Lago is his top pick, he told Esquire in 2007.”
In 1927, Post built an underground walkway from underground bomb shelters to the beach. Along with massive storage space, 24 bedrooms, two pools and dozens of bathrooms. Mara-a-Lago has been retrofitted to be a presidential retreat. Post’s dream for the property was to be another Camp David for presidential retreats. And like Camp David, there are the necessary locations to talk about and store classified documents securely.

Many young Leftists have no idea about this history. They would not know about the degree of how secure Trump’s home at Mar-a-Lago is known for having. So, the lefts’ righteous indignation has come back to haunt them. Unlike Trump and Mar-a-Lago, Biden secured classified documents in an office of a university funded by millions of Chinese dollars, in his garage next to his classic Corvette, and around his Wilmington, Delaware, mansion.
The media is correct the situation between Biden and Trump is different. Trump was president with full authority to declassify under the Presidential Records Act, he was in litigation and allowed NARA into the records at Mar-a-Lago, and Trump signed an order before leaving office declassifying them.
A document titled, “Memorandum on Declassification of Certain Materials Related to Crossfire Hurricane Investigation” was signed by Trump on January 19, 2021, the day before he left office. After the DOJ acted as if these records were stolen or hidden by Trump, Trump’s attorneys released the above image across social media.
In Trump’s hands at Mar-a-Lago those records were secured in a compound designed for presidents and security. None of the records had seen the light of day on the internet. That is until the real risk to security happened. That was when the FBI was sent to raid Mar-a-Lago. That was when the government posted picture of the records all over social media, just to harm Trumps character. If there was real concern for the leaking of state secrets within those documents the government would not have spread images of the documents to the world.
Should one assume the FBI was willing to share the images only due to their knowledge the documents had already been declassified by Trump. For political points the democrats wanted the pictures of the documents out there to show marking of classification.
If documents found at Mar-a-Lago were part of the order Trump signed, then the classification markers were left at a higher security level, because only a lower classification mark can do harm. The government does not have time to change markings on every document. Trump signed an order that was used to declassify a bundle of materials relating to Crossfire Hurricane.
In typical fashion of the dishonest democrats and media, they have tried to come to Biden’s rescue. They compared the two Presidents claiming Trump’s situation was more egregious. Despite Trump having authority to declassify, the Biden Administration allowed for the raid during negotiations over the records. With Biden, he was vice president when he removed documents, had no real security protecting the documents and has his personal attorneys identifying documents to return to NARA. Unlike Trump, who had his young female attorney, Lindsey Halligan bullied out of the building by the FBI and ordered her to turn off the Mar-a-Lago security cameras.
